Do you often notice mistakes on movies or sitcoms?
And do they just drive you a little nuts?
For instance, I like to watch Everybody Loves Raymond but in the moms kitchen there is a paper towel holder on the refridgerator. How can you fasten a paper towel holder to a refridgerator? You can’t screw it on and there is no sticky pad that will hold up. Or like the time the refridgerator was open for a long time and NOTHING was in it. YOu would think that they would stop taping and reshoot.
Also the other night on Letterman there was an interview with Tom Brokaw. Brokaw had some kind of stain on his jacket…looked like the brushed up against something. You would think that they would at least ”fix” it during a break but no they didn’t.
This is one of my biggest pet peeves.
By the way Monk….I did not give you a thumbs down. Sometimes other people besides the asker does this.
heehee you sound like Adrian Monk, but yes I do notice mistakes on sitcoms/movies but mainly continuity mistakes and plotholes.
you can’t help it, it just happens. and it’s not like the directors/producers are going to make it 100% perfect all the time. but one can’t just help but nitpick…everyone does. =)
