How do we avoid nudity or awkwardness when with our house guest and 1 bathroom?
I am hosting my male cousin for a month or two until his wife sells the house back east and then joins him out here on the west coast. One problem we have encountered is my wife and I only have a single bathroom.
How do we deal with issues such as 1 person is showering and the other has a call of nature. We have a very modern bathroom with just a 360 degree sheet of glass for a shower enclosure. And the toilet is about 3 feet away from it.
Any suggestion for when he is in the shower and my wife has to potty (she can not hold it AT ALL) or if she is in the shower and he has to go.
He just about peed his pants last night waiting for her to get out and covered up so he could go.
We do the announcement before getting in. But want about coming home having to go and get inside to find someone in the shower?
Does the call of nature trump seeing the other naked?
lock the bathroom door when you are in there. Before getting into the shower let everyone know that you are so if they have to “use the facilities” do it now or they will have to wait until after your shower. You are all adults you should be able to hold it until the bathroom is available.
