Classic Or Not?? Part 5?
So this is how it works, I name an album, and you tell me if that album, in your opinion is classic or not, and if you want, why you feel that way. Today’s album is:
Kanye West – The College Dropout
The most recent album done thus far, it’s safe to say that Kanye’s debut caused alot of eyes to focus their attention on the Hip Hop scene coming out of Chicago. “Innovative” may be a perfect word to describe the fresh sounding material Kanye brings to the hip-hop scene. His perfected skill in “sampling” is exceptional, ranging from modern contemporary sounding hip-hop to old school R&B soul. In fact, one of the only negative things you can say about this CD is that there are too many skits on. Nevertheless, this album had many Heads calling it an instant classic.
